Sydney loves people's stories. For 18 years he has listened to his clients tell him their stories. Not the stories of why they want to buy a house per se, but the stories that make each person an individual. To hear Sydney tell it, it even sounds a bit mysterious. "...I want to know who you are, who you want to be and what you want to do. What does this house meant to you?" He takes this intimate knowledge and with it procures the perfect home.
His clients tend to be eclectic, unique individuals who in their differences still share one story (about Sydney anyway) "He found me the perfect home. I don't know how, but he did." Originally from Roslyn, New York, Sydney's real estate career started with co-op and condominium sales in Manhattan. From there he progressed to selling vacation and farm properties in the Catskill Mountains and upstate New York. He headed west to San Francisco in 2002 bringing with him the wealth of knowledge and experience he had gained on the east coast. While in the Bay Area he further honed his skills as he prepared for his next big leap into the Los Angeles housing market. While a successful career that he enjoys is one facet of Sydney, there are other things that he cares for deeply and brings great passion to. Throughout the years he has given his time to various charitable groups and organizations. Currently he is the president of Project Save Our Surf, who champions to save the oceans and reverse the trend of environmental pollution. He also volunteers for Project Angel Food which provides daily meals for people homebound or disabled by HIV/AIDS and is a board member of Tumelo Home, a non profit organization that provides sanctuary to disabled children in Ivory Park in Johannesburg, South Africa.
